Description
Interview with Mrs. Jesse Garner, who rented a room to Lee Harvey Oswald at 4905 Magazine Street. Hunter asks Garner if a retouched photo identified by a witness in Jim Garrison's investigation as resembling Leon Oswald was, in fact, the Lee Harvey Oswald who rented a room from her. Mrs. Garner answers that it might be, but that she never saw him looking that way, needing a shave. Hunter then asked her how Oswald dressed. Mrs. Garner answers that Oswald was always very neat and well-dressed. Hunter then shows her a photo of Oswald handing out leaflets for Fair Play for Cuba in front of the International Trade Mart in the Summer of 1963, wearing a shirt and tie, and asked if that was how she remembered him. She responds that she's seen him like that a few times, but that he was usually just dressed in khakis and sports shirt. Hunter asks her if she'd ever seen Oswald needing a shave? Garner replies that she's never seen him without a shave and needing a hair cut.
