Oral history with educator and former President of Southern University (1969-1974) Dr. G. Leon Netterville (16 July 1906-12 February 2000). Conducted on January 5, 1993. In this interview, Dr. Netterville discusses his time working at Southern University and the problems he faced with civil and racial unrest on the campus. He also touches on the Smith-Brown Shooting that resulted from campus protests in November 1972. Part 1 of 2.
