This segment from the 2014 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Isaac McFarland of Keithville, a junior at Caddo Magnet High School in Shreveport. McFarland started a program called Game Changers: Let’s Tackle Hunger. He collected one thousand decorated tackle boxes filled with non-perishable breakfast items that were delivered to needy families in the Shreveport area. In the fall of 2013, he also spearheaded a city-wide food drive that collected three tons of food for the food bank.
