This segment from the 2011 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Cassidy Crews, a junior at Buckeye High School in Deville. In 2009, Crews was in a serious ATV crash that forced her to relearn how to walk and ended her softball career. Despite this challenge, Crews serves as the manager of the softball team and is a tireless volunteer in the community. In addition to singing at nursing homes and adult day care centers, Crews also collects items for Soles4Souls, Coats for Kids, Toys for Tots, and a local school uniform drive.
