An oral history interview conducted on August 1, 2017, with Bill Jameson, a native of Watonga, Oklahoma, and resident of Monroe, Louisiana. Jameson served in the United States Army from 1961-1976. He discusses: enlisting in the U.S. Army Security Agency; the places he served; his work as a communications officer; his worst memories of being in the military; the differences between how veterans were treated during the Vietnam War and how they are treated today; and his advice for young people who are interested in joining the military.
