This segment from the March 15, 2024, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Karen LeBlanc’s report on the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries’ (LDWF) whooping crane reintroduction program. LeBlanc reports that there are currently 80 whooping cranes living in Louisiana.
