This segment from the November 6, 2020, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Andre Moreau’s report on the results from the November 3rd statewide elections. He first interviews Melinda Deslatte of the Associated Press and Greg Hilburn of the USA Today Network. They discuss: the reelection of United States Senator Bill Cassidy; the incumbents winning the Congressional races; and the upcoming runoff between Luke Letlow and State Representative Lance Harris in the 5th Congressional District. Moreau then interviews Barry Erwin, the president of the Council for a Better Louisiana (CABL), and Robert Travis Scott, the president of the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana (PAR). They discuss the fate of the seven constitutional amendments on the ballot.
