This segment from the August 24, 2012, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Shauna Sanford’s report on the ongoing dispute between Justice Bernette Johnson and Justice Jeffrey Victory over who holds seniority and will become the next Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Sanford reports that Johnson was elected to the Supreme Court in 1994 to a new seat created through a federal consent decree.
