This segment from the July 22, 2011, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Sue Lincoln’s report on the LSU AgCenter’s Louisiana Young Agricultural Producers Program, or LaYAPP, a one-year mentorship program that pairs high school students with experts in the field of agri-business. Lincoln attends LaYAPP’s graduation ceremony and follows the new class on their field trip to the LSU farms.
