Lincoln interviews: Dr. Scott Norton, the Assistant State Superintendent of Education, on the safeguards put into place to prevent widespread cheating on standardized tests and the isolated incidents that are discovered every year; an unidentified teacher on the pressure she feels from her school district to pass students; and Joyce Haynes, the president of the Louisiana Association of Educators, on her fear that more teachers may try to cheat because of the state’s new teacher evaluation system.
