This segment from the March 25, 2011, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features the second part of producer Jeremy Alford’s report on the economic impact of the BP Oil Spill. Alford interviews: Chris Macaluso of the Louisiana Wildlife Federation on the state of the charter boat industry; Dr. Kevin Kleinow, an LSU toxicity professor, on his study into the effects of oil on zebra fish; and Dr. Jim Richardson, an economist with the Revenue Estimating Conference, on the impact of the spill on state revenues.
