Sanford reports that LSU sent termination letters to 300 non-tenured faculty members stating that their contracts will not be renewed in 2011. She interviews Martha Strohschein, an English instructor, Dr. Anna Nardo, the English Department chair, and Kevin Cope, the president of the LSU Faculty Senate, about their concerns over the impact of the budget cuts and the loss of faculty members on the ability of students to graduate on time due to limited course offerings.
