This segment from the July 17, 2009, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Charlie Whinham’s visit to Chemin-A-Haut State Park, which overlooks Bayou Bartholomew in Morehouse Parish. Whinham talks to park manager Gregory Green about the origin and pronunciation of the park’s name, the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps in building the park and its structures, and the park’s cabins.
