This segment from the November 11, 1988, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Ken Lormand’s report on the impact of the results of the 1988 presidential and statewide elections on the Republican and Democratic Parties in Louisiana. Lormand reports that Republicans won the two biggest races in Louisiana – George Bush for president and Clyde Holloway for Louisiana’s Eighth Congressional District.
