This segment from the November 6, 1987, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Rob Hinton’s report on the state’s cash flow problems and the state budget deficit. He first reports on the meeting between Governor Edwin Edwards and Governor-Elect Buddy Roemer at the Governor’s Mansion to discuss these fiscal issues, their first meeting since the 1987 gubernatorial election.
