Description
This segment from the February 20, 1987, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Lynda Roedts’ report on the $1.25 million settlement reached between Rollins Environmental Services, a hazardous waste incinerator company, and the State of Louisiana. Roedts reports that Rollins also agrees to clean up the hazardous waste at their facility in the small community of Alsen in East Baton Rouge Parish.
