A speech by Dr. Barry Keim and Clay Tucker before the Baton Rouge Press Club on August 29, 2016. Dr. Keim, the Louisiana State Climatologist, discusses the evolution of the storm event that caused the historic flooding in Baton Rouge and southeast Louisiana and the overall rainfall totals. Tucker, a Ph.D. student with the LSU Department of Geography and Anthropology, discusses the hydrology of the storm and flooding event. They also answer questions from the audience.
