Kurtz is a history professor at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond and a leading authority on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the assassination, he discusses: the events surrounding the assassination on November 22, 1963; the shortcomings of the Warren Commission; the evidence supporting multiple gunmen; and credible conspiracy theories involving Fidel Castro, anti-Castro Cubans, the mafia, and the CIA.
