Moore, who grew up in Baton Rouge, served in the United States House of Representatives for Louisiana’s 6th Congressional District from 1975-1987. He also served as the Deputy Secretary at the United States Department of Energy from 1989-1992 and the Deputy Chief of Staff to President George H.W. Bush in 1992.
