Description
This segment from the April 9, 2016, episode of the series “Art Rocks!” features host James Fox-Smith’s visit to the newly expanded LSU Museum of Art, which is located at the Shaw Center for the Arts in downtown Baton Rouge. Fox-Smith and Daniel Stetson, the executive director of the museum, tour the new “Art in Louisiana” exhibit, including the opening gallery, the landscape gallery, the portrait gallery, and the contemporary art gallery. Fox-Smith also meets with Fran Huber, the assistant director for collections management, who shows him the latest addition to the museum’s silver collection and their Newcomb pottery collection.
