Shauna Sanford hosts live coverage of Governor Bobby Jindal’s opening address to the 2010 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature on March 29, 2010. Prior to the speech, Sanford and Barry Erwin of the Council for a Better Louisiana (CABL) discuss the state’s $1 billion shortfall, the close election for Speaker Pro Temp between State Representatives Joel Robideaux and Noble Ellington, and the major issues of the upcoming session. In the House Chamber, Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu leads the Pledge of Allegiance and Lantangela Sherman performs the National Anthem.
