A 2009 documentary chronicling the life and career of General Robert H. Barrow. General Barrow, a native of St. Francisville, served as the 27th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps from 1979-1983. This documentary covers: his family roots in West Feliciana Parish; his early life on Rosale Plantation; his 41-year career in the Marine Corps, including his service in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War; his tenure as the Commandant of the Marine Corps; and his retirement in West Feliciana Parish.
