This episode of the series “En Francais” from April 8, 1984, features James Fontenot’s interview with Dale Vinet, a shrimper from Delcambre, Louisiana. Fontenot then interviews Fernard Dupuy, the owner of Dupuy’s Oyster House in Abbeville, Louisiana. He discusses the oyster industry and the history of his family restaurant.
