This episode of the series “En Francais” from June 13, 1982, features James Fontenot’s interview with Cajun singer Jim Olivier and accordion player V.J. Boulet. Olivier is also the host of KLFY-TV’s “Passe Partout” in Lafayette, Louisiana. They discuss Cajun music and French language television in Louisiana. They also perform several songs, including Olivier’s duet with Jeanece Clement. This episode was preserved through a 2018 CLIR Recordings at Risk Grant.
