Description
This segment from the November 25, 1984, episode of the series “Folks” features the second part of Rob Hinton presenting highlights of a passionate speech given by Thomas Todd, a civil rights activist and the former president of Operation PUSH, in New Orleans. He discusses the need for a new black militancy, the Democratic Party taking black voters for granted, the need for black political candidates, and his view of America.
